I bought a "memory foam" mattress on Craigslist for the day-bed in my office. I only slept on it a couple of nights--and woke up with sore hips both times. All foam mattresses are not created equal--and a mattress that works well for a child is probably not going to support an adult's body. I didn't want to make that mistake twice, now that allergy/snoring season is here. I hit a chain discount mattress store that also handles Tempurpedic's full line. Even though I came in looking for a twin mattress, they worked hard on me to buy their top-of-the-line king set, with the automatic foundation that cost more than my first new car. Their lowest-priced twin memory foam mattress was over $300--and it was bright orange and fuzzy. Then, I checked Amazon. This mattress only had two reviews---but they were both very good, so I decided to give it a try. OMG! It arrived in two days, in a box about 2'x2'x2'. Within minutes of its delivery, they called to make sure we had it. We had a great time cutting it out of its wrapping and watching it grow to full size in a matter of a few minutes. I laid down on it right away---and thought I'd made a huge mistake. But, what I learned was you don't want to rush memory foam mattresses. I put it on the day-bed and left it alone--by the next morning, it had transformed itself into a very supportive cloud. I slept on it last night---it is very firm, but it does not create any pressure points between itself and your body. I never fall asleep quickly, but last night, the last thing I remember is lying on my right side (which always aches at my hip when I wake up)---and I woke up this morning in the same position. No tossing or turning at all. A miracle! We have a king-sized latex bed and I never thought any bed could be as comfortable as that one---till now. The cover on it is like a t-shirt--the corners are glued rather than stitched. I immediately put a cover on it, to keep it in good condition. It is recommended that it be rotated and flipped. Both sides are memory foam--it just gets better and better! As a very firm mattress, it may not be the greatest for a young child--like one who weighs 50# or so. This is a mattress engineered for the adult body---you will not be sorry for purchasing this bed. PERFECT for a guest bed, or a day-bed or even an RV bed. A spectacular deal!

Did some research online and was very interested in the memory foam. Didn't want to spend a huge amount of money on something that I wasn't sure if I would even like. Got this at a great price so pulled the trigger. Let me say that I love this mattress! And my fiance does too.I had zero off-gassing as far as I can tell and not really any issue with it trapping heat. If it does sleep warmer that a conventional, me nor her can tell it. Also my back feels good so far (only slept on it 2 nights as of yet). If you are pondering like I was, pull the trigger on a memory foam. We love it.

I just want to say that I am nearing 70 years old, and as far as I can remember, this is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on.
