i just love this set. I ordered a cal king and think it's a good value. I found the comforter to be a nice weight for summer. It doesn't seem thin to me as it does have some "poof" to it. The yellow is bright, the grey is a light shade and the combination is very pretty. It will brighten up a room, which is exactly what I wanted as it was time for the browns and blues I had to retire. The picture doesn't really show that the flower design is mostly on just one half of the comforter while the other half is the grey. That actually worked well for me, kept the design from being overpowering and it might ease a man's mind about the flowery design. The shams follow the same sort of thing with a flower mostly on one end and grey on the rest. The white throw pillow has an embroidered flower design in yellow, the yellow pillow has a diamond quilt stitched front, and the yellow/grey pillow has layered fabric.

Product photos are usually much more muted than in person so I was hoping that it would be in this case as well. I wanted a yellow that was bright not muted but not at the expense of being neon. I knew if I wasn't happy with the color that I could return it, I have never had problems with amazon returns. Luckily my gamble paid off!! The yellow is a perfectly bright but not overpowering color. The Greys are pure with no hints of blue. (after my color theory class In art school I get very bothered by tints of color where I don't want them - so rest assures there aren't hints of green in the yellow or hints of blue or purple in the grey) the comforter is comfortable. Not super soft but certainly not scratchy. It seems well made, I washed it before putting it on my bed & there were no problems. It came out looking just as good as when I opened the package!Pros:- yellow is bright but not overpowering- yellow is a nice shade without any hues of green as many yellows do.- well made- washes well- Greys let the yellow pop & creates a serene atmosphere in your bedroom without it feeling cold or sterile.- washes well- not rough or scratchy- keeps me warm without overheating me!- good valueCons:- while it isn't scratchy, it isn't super soft either. Using microfiber, sateen or flannel blends would have improved the softness.I am very pleased with my purchase & would reccomend both the product & the seller.

The comforter is made of thin fabric and its overall quality did not meet my expectations. Also, the yellow color is very unattractive, completely different from the color shown on the web site. I have already returned item to Designer Living.
