I was leery about this purchase because I read a few not so favorable reviews on this bed in a different fabric. I read that the nailhead looked fake. Or about assembly problems. We decided to take a chance because I really like the look of this bed and could not afford a pricier version seen in those upscale stores. so we went for itWe were not sorryThe fabric is a beautiful dark gray. Very true to the picture. The diamond tufting is perfect. The nailhead is REAL. This is a very well made bed. Very sturdy. My hubby was impressed.We buy a lot of assembly required furniture so this assembly was not difficult.. We bought a king, And aside from being rather large the assembly only took the two of us less than an hour. Other reviews are correct in the directions are not easy to follow and not in English. But it's not rocket science. We just followed the pictures and didn't run into any big problems.The biggest annoyance was the bed frame and the headboard came in 2 separate boxes,2 days apart!! Waiting was the hardest!!We love this bed. So glad we purchased

We finally got our bed this week! it took a good 4 weeks but it's okay!it was exactly what we expected plus more! It's elegant and it's in great quality. the velvet is soft and it's in good quality! The "wing" back makes the bed look alot bigger (we already got the King size).I am so glad to get this off amazon vs. something similar from a furniture store! We took a chance to buy furniture online and we are so glad we did it. Tax free and no delivery charges! Wooooohooo!One thing is that the first few nights- you can still smell the "new furniture" smell .. or maybe the "factory/ warehouse" smell. But it was gone after i open the window for a day to get the air out.

This is a great bed for the money. Beautiful rich grey velvet fabric. Looks fantastic in our master bedroom. Arrived sooner than expected. Easy to put together.
