I'll be the first to admit that my sleeping habits are...unconventional. For years I have spurned beds in favour of hardwood floors, camping was never a huge ordeal for me as just laying my jacket on the ground was good enough, beds that were "too cushy" made me lose feeling in my limbs and just generally made me feel claustrophobic and uncomfortable.When my fibromyalgia started to take it's toll and my knees / hips no longer agreed with my "bare-bones" sleeping habits, I started piling up an assortment of blankets on the floor....Still refusing to give in to a bed because, let's face it....Cushy is still the ultimate evil for me. I like my beds flat; I just don't want to wake up feeling like a 90 year old woman as I hobble around in pain.After a few months of doing far too much laundry, I found these NovaForm gel topper mattresses in CostCo (which, btw, I bought this exact product there on 03.MAR.2013 for $99.99) and thought that maybe if I plopped that on the floor, ditched all of my elaborate stacks of sleeping bags and comforters, and used that in place of an actual mattress that I'd be set.Unrolling the NovaForm was fun for me. I didn't have to do any work beyond slicing open the plastic....It basically grows slowly into shape on its own like those "grow creatures" you used to get as a kid. Place the super-soft and included cover around it (which can either be fitted, like mine was, or zippered) and bam! Instant mattress (for me, anyway.)The first night, I was skeptical. I laid on just that and nothing else.I slept like a baby in hot Arizona weather. It was cool, air flowed through it, it was flat and soft...but not "puffy" or hard. Just perfect. And I managed to get up off the floor with a spring in my step, instead of like the 90-y/o zombie I've come to resemble in previous mornings. I feel great. This topper is pretty much the perfect thing for this unconventional sleeper.For the rest of the population who actually use mattresses and box springs....I would imagine this would be a quite comfortable and welcome addition to the top of your mattress, but I honestly cannot say for sure what it will do for you....because, after all, we all like our different ways of sleeping. :)

I was having back problems, but my Husband was just fine on our mattress. I bought the twin for my side. The first night was amazing. I still don't want to get out of bed. I live in a tropical climate. I heard that memory foam stores body heat and makes you sweat. I haven't had this problem with this topper. I highly recommend it!

Very Pleased Comfortable. I did some research and this one seamed like the best for the price with cotton cover... received it and it did not smell, and it works great... very comfortable.. can't say enough good about it...
