Excellent quality for the price. I could not have purchased the material and decorative notions at a discount fabric warehouse for this price. The gold is not brassy - good quality color. I would have paid $ 159 in a retail store for this (and I am frugal).The comforter does not hang to the floor, but comes down to the dust ruffle. The curtains have a nice sheer panel underneath.

We purchased this 11PC MAROON JEWEL PATCHWORK COMFORTER BED IN A BAG KING through Amazon on September 10, 2011. The order arrived fast and we were excited to have the stuff in time. All the items arrived exactly as per invoice. A separate set of bed sheets was purchased, that too through Amazon and all the items were spread on the new king bed and we started using the stuff. Apparently all the stuff was looking nice with attractive colors but in a period of 2 to 3 weeks, the stuff filled in the Comforter started sieving down on the bed sheet and was appearing as a layer of white fine dust. It was more visible because of burgundy color of the bed sheet and we would have not noticed in case we have white bed sheet. This may accelerate asthmatic problems even in normal persons. The supplier was contacted through Amazon to return the stuff by reporting the manufacturers' defect of inferior quality of the material filled in the Comforter. The supplier, through email, felt sorry for all that happened but refused to accept the return on the pretext that "the items were used". I don't think there is any way other than using of such stuff, to know its quality. We give single star and that too for the speed the order reached and appearance of the stuff and zero star for its quality.

It's a really nice set especially if you're on a budget. I'm happy with my purchase of this set. THe curtains & comforter are nice and sturdy.
