We ordered this for my 2 year old. The three large boxes were well packaged and arrived undamaged. Assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow, but I would strongly recommend a power drill/w screwdriver attachment. We chose to add wood glue to some of the joints for extra stability. But all the parts were there, easily identified from the instructions, and everything fit together perfectly.The bed lives up to its promise of solid wood construction and seems very sturdy. I have every reason to believe it will last until we wave our boy off to college. The drawers are roomy and glide nicely. The trundle rolls out nicely, even on a low-pile carpet. The bed is quite high off the floor, to make room for the drawers and trundle beneath. So for our little guy (a rather aerobic sleeper), we found it necessary to add a child safety rail. It is a large bed, and would overwhelm a very small room.The only tiny flaw was the finish. There is a slight gap in a couple places where two pieces meet - as if the wood shifted a bit after assembly, and you can see the original white shade of the wood. Again, not overly noticeable unless you really look for it, but there.We also ordered the matching 5 drawer dresser. I found it a little small in scale to be "matching," but it does meet our needs and we are happy with that as well.Overall, I found this to be a great value and a nice addition to our home.

This bed is very well made, and is all solid wood. Assembly is straightforward and instructions are easy to follow. The bed is very attractive, and a real value at this price. The drawers under the trundle are very nicely made and are quite handy...I highly recommend this product.

Captains Bed Full with Twin Trundle and Drawers in Expressowe like the bed, good quality for the money, the screw heads are not the best grade steel they strip so I used sheet rock screws when that happened
