This headboard has it all. A transitional styled metal headboard with curved top rails, delightful woven-look finials, a large center casting on the grills as well as dozens of smaller castings on its many spindles and posts. The finish is called Tarnished Copper and has a deep earthy rust color with an aged blue patina hang-up in the crevices of the castings. The center of the headboard measures 56-Inch. An exquisite design with a lot of attention to detail, this headboard is sure to become an heirloom.

I was looking at wooden storage beds and upholstered headboards when I found this. It's beautiful! And it was less expensive than most (if not all) of the other items I was considering. Very nice detailing, arrived in mint condition, and fairly easy to set up all by myself. I love my new bed!

I wrote a review on this before, but somehow it just disappeared....We could not be more pleased with the headboard! We opted not to get the footboard, so this review is only for the headboard. The cast iron is very substantial and heavy. The welding, joints and castings are done very well and are very neat - there is not sloppiness in the workmanship. The baked enamel finish is kinds of like a very dark brownish color but is greenish around the edges of the castings, giving an aged patina look. The castings and the finials on the posts are what really make the look of this bed, and they are gorgeous! The finish of the enamel is not matte and it is not shiny either, but in the middle. This is my second cast iron headboard I have owned and I love this one as much as the first. I cannot say anything bad about this item - love it! If you are teetering on the fence in your decision to order this headboard vs. another, go with this one, you will not be disappointed.

It was just what we were looking for!! We only purchased the headboard, not the footboard since we were going for a more open and airy look. The delivery was perfect, too!
