A few years ago I purchased a Duvet Set from Garnet Hill with a color palette of kiwi green, medium (guava) pink, and a raspberry/wine color on an off-white background, which I loved. The fabric is incredible and the finishing details were perfect including interior corner ties which keeps the comforter in place, and a pocket closure which keeps the buttons from being uncomfortable.I wanted something new on the bed without changing the colors. The colors in this are perfect. They are a bit richer, or more sophisticated than they appear in the Amazon photo. The white is more of a taupey cream color. The magenta is rich, not bright which is good. I'd worried it might be a little too teen-oriented from the picture. The reverse is a pale sage green print, kind of a calico. The top is very soft to the feel but feels a bit flimsy; the reverse green is definitely more coarse and less comfortable.Check the measurements. It is significantly longer than the average full/queen comforter leaving empty space at one end. I was quite disappointed with the closure. It does NOT have an "envelope" pocket and the button holes were terrible - poorly sewn with threads not trimmed out of the center. The buttons are cheap clear plastic and slip too easily out of their button-holes.The shams are fine, just fine. Basic rectangles to match the spread with the same reverse fabric. No border, no other details. One small pet peeve is that the pattern placement is not the same on the shams. Seems like it should be. Looks a little tacky/messy as is. I think that's why they are not displayed side-by-side in the product photo.I haven't washed it yet - hoping the colors hold-up and I don't get any pilling. I am disappointed that there aren't sheets or a bed-skirt to match. The Echo Design website offers a sheet set as shown in the picture but the fabrics used aren't actually coordinated so I'm passing. I'd prefer something to match a little closer. Will stick with it simply because it's been nearly impossible to find a pattern I like in this color palette, but the quality is so-so.

The colors are more vivid in person. I purchased for my daughters apartment she loves it. It is very well made, soft and the colors are cheerful and appealing.
