King Brown - low quality

The color is a grayish tan and I wanted a more golden tan. The material seemed a little cheap for the price. The inner side of the comforter was scratchy. The worst part is that there was a seam going all the way down about a third of the way in on the top of the comforter. You would think they would at least center it.

Lightweight, yet warm and comfortable. Attractive, but not very durable.

I searched for weeks for a new comforter and bought this one about a month and a half ago. This review is based on my experience over this period of time.Price: I will say that this is a great value-- it comes with the comforter, 2 large pillow shams, 3 throw pillows, and a bedskirt.Thickness:The comforter is a great thickness-- light enough for warm weather, but it is now November and I am still perfectly comfortable.Size: I have a queen size bed that is quite low to the ground, and I bought a queen size comforter. My bed is against a wall on one side, and when I tuck it in on the wall-side, the exposed side of the comforter is long enough to reach the ground. However, if your bed is an average height or higher, you may consider choosing a comforter that is a size larger-- although it may not be necessary because the included bedskirt may be sufficient to hide any under-the-bed storage. It's really a matter of preference.Fabric: The fabric is different than I expected. I suppose from the picture, I thought it would be more of a sateen-type of material, but it's actually closer to a microfiber-type material (I apologize for the loose terminology, I am not terribly familiar with fabric types). It is still very soft, but feels to me like it is less durable.Durability: Occasionally if I am sitting on top of the comforter and shift my weight, or something else tugs on it slightly, I hear a small tearing sound, like a thread breaking, that I suspect might be one of the "pintucks" coming loose. Probably something that could be easily fixed, and none of the "pintucks" have come completely undone yet, but it still makes me feel like I have to be very careful. Also, I had this comforter for about a week or two when I noticed a hole the size of a silver dollar in the center of it. I suspect that this might have been from my dog either chewing through it (which is uncharacteristic) or catching it with her nails, so if you have pets that spend time on the bed I recommend that you keep this in mind. I now use an old quilt to cover the bed so that there is no further damage (and to hide this unsightly hole) but it kind of defeats the purpose of having the comforter to begin with.TL;DR - This product is lightweight, yet warm and comfortable. The material is closer to microfiber than sateen. It is a great value, as it comes with a bedskirt, two large shams, and three throw pillows. However, the material does not feel very durable and may likely tear if you frequently have pets on the bed, so you might want to either cover it with another blanket or choose a different comforter. Overall, I'm fairly happy with this product for the price, but I'm not sure it will last me very long.

This comforter did not hold up more than a few weeks. The material inside bunched up and was unable to smooth out. Would not recommend
