I purchased this product after reading reviews for many mattress toppers.It's like having a new bed. There was no smell as described by some products. I don't notice the bed being hotter as described by some products and it is extremely comfortable. I aired it for 24 hours and placed it on the bed. Glad I purchased it.

We recently replaced our mattress and needed something to give it a bit more coushion. This mattress topper is perfect. Not too soft, not too firm. It gives support but also takes the stress off pressure points like the hips, shoulders and knees. We were hesitant about foam, we were afraid it would be too hot. It is not hot at all. The mattress we replaced was a thick pillowtop and since the pillowtop quickly developed indentations where we slept we decided to get the smallest pillowtop we could find this time but it was a bit too firm. This topper was the perfect answer to our problem. I haven't slept this well in years. I was a bit skeptical even with all the great reviews but they were right on and I am so glad I ordered this. Granted we have only had it for about a month but I am hoping it will last for awhile. If not we can certianly afford to replace it in 6 months or a year much more than we could afford to replace an entire mattress.

I am about 6 months pregnant and have struggled with hip and back pain, as I did with my first pregnancy. Laying down/sleeping wasn't relieving, but instead made it worse. When I had to get up, whether in the middle of the night or the morning, my hips were so achy and it took a while to loosen up to be able to walk normally and without much discomfort. Our mattress is about 5 years old as well, but a firm + pillow top. It's a good mattress that is good usually, but just not now.SO, I ordered this. It was a gamble to me, since the descriptions online do not include information about the density (pounds per foot, or whatever that measure is) or the thickness to compare it to other products.I am very pleased with this mattress topper - I did notice a difference the first night. It is 2" thick and 3lb density. It is a little less firm than I had hoped, but it makes sense for being only 2" thick and having the zone pattern. After a week of just this topper, I ordered another (Serta 4-Pound Memory Foam 2-Inch Mattress Topper), with greater density, to add a little more support. That has also made a great difference. One night and I have seen that.I do recommend this topper. If you need a lot of support/relief, as I do, you may either want to buy the two or a thicker one altogether. The advantage to buying 2 as I did is that the price is still better than any 4" out there I have seen (about 230 total) and you get the varied density support, more like the concept of Tempurpedic mattresses - the top layer is a little less dense so you get more cushiony comfort, and the lower is higher density for more solid support. Plus, the 4" toppers I could find were NOT 100% visc elastic memory foam. THAT would also make a BIG difference. Not worth getting the higher price for cheaper material/quality!
