Disappointed.

I've bought a couple of beautiful Laura Ashley bed sets in the past, but lately I've been finding the designs rather frumpy. I thought this one would be elegant, but unfortunately it's not as pictured. There are pink puzzle piece-shaped squiggles embroidered throughout the top, resulting in a quilt-like effect instead of a smooth surface. The flowers are much more purplish than pink, and the comforter is very thin - not much loft at all. Also, it seems rather pricey for not even including the sheets!

I can't wait to get a new set

I received this set today...it is beautiful...the color is exactly what I wanted...I am a little disappointed in the pillow shams...they are a little flimsy...I am going to wrap to pillow with batting to make them a little firmer...the quilt is oversized just enough...I have to change this review...I have had this set for 4 months now...and honestly...I have gotten set in walmart that have held up better than this...the stitching is falling out...batting is actually hard in spots..very disappointed....$200.00 may not be much for some...but I was treating myself to a Laura Ashely set.
