By Alan Levin
I grew up believing that there could be nothing better than sleeping under a down (feather) filled comforter (duvet), until I met Martin who introduced me to a silk filled comforter. I was skeptical but open to consideration, first he explained how the the silk is covered with a cotton outer and secondly how it's a more healthy alternative. He said it's warmer in Winter and cooler in Summer but until I tried for myself it was difficult to believe. Now I can vouch for this.I do think that it's such a mind-shift that one must allow a couple of weeks to get used to it. At first the bedding feels too light to be warm. If you think feathers are light (especially compared to wool) you will be surprised at how light silk is. It's also surprisingly compact.Unfortunately my ex-wife took mine so I'm waiting for a new one but I have already bought the kids their own for my new place. Considering we spend 1/3 of our lives in bed, this is a definite 'must try'

Absolutely great comforter! Lightweight warmth without making you too warm or sweat. Lining stays where it is supposed to and cover is soft, but I bought a duvet cover to protect it. Sleep great under this and would totally recommend it over a down comforter.

By Reina M. Hibbert
Absolutely the best comforter I've ever purchased. I've had several down comforters, natural fiber-fill comforters and comforter sets and I'm either too hot, or too cold. This comforter (in a duvet) is the perfect weight and keeps me at a consistent temperature all night. I've never had such a good night's sleep! This is a great product if you are a hot sleeper in the Seattle area.
